Google Play Closed Testing
What is Google Play Closed Testing?
Google Play Closed Testing is a mandatory phase before your Android app can be published to the general public. Your app must have at least 20 real testers who opt into your closed testing track and actively use it for 14 consecutive days. Without completing this, Google will not grant your app production access.
How many testers do I need for Google Play Closed Testing?

What happens if a tester drops out during the 14 days?
HappyTestr monitors tester activity throughout the 14-day window. If any tester becomes inactive, we replace them to ensure you maintain 20+ active testers and your countdown is never reset.
Is HappyTestr's Closed Testing service compliant with Google's policies?
Yes. We provide real human testers who genuinely opt-in and actively use your app. We do not use bots, fake accounts, or any method that violates Google Play's Developer Program Policies.
What do I need to provide to get started with Closed Testing?
You need to share your Google Play Console closed testing track link (or the email list invitation link) so our testers can opt in. Everything else is managed by HappyTestr.

How long does Manual QA Testing take?
Manual QA Testing is typically completed within 3–5 business days, depending on the complexity of your app. Testing begins within 24–48 hours of order confirmation.
Can HappyTestr test my iOS app?
Yes. Our Manual QA Testing service supports iOS apps. Simply provide your TestFlight link or app access credentials, and our testers will evaluate your app across different iPhone and iPad configurations.

Pricing & Payment
How does the 50% upfront payment model work?
You pay 50% of the service cost when placing your order. The remaining 50% is due only after testing is successfully completed and your report or approval status is delivered. If we don't complete the service, you don't pay the second half.
What are your prices?
Google Play Closed Testing costs $10 total ($5 upfront). Manual QA Testing costs $50 total ($25 upfront). AI Testing costs $100 total ($50 upfront). All prices are in USD.
